Tab 507, please.
While it remains unknown precisely which specific persons will be perceived by the subject as instances of RPC-507-1, but collected footage of individuals affected by RPC-507 suggest that individuals with certain characteristics have a disproportionally higher probability of being perceived as instances of RPC-507-1.
Disproportionate hostilities towards RPC-507-1 instances is are exhibited by subjects while RPC-507 is activated. Hostilities towards individuals normally perceived as RPC-507-1 instances is are usually present even when RPC-507 is not activated for unknown reasons.
The secondary effect of RPC-507 is it's its ability to remain self-containing.
Remember the different types of its. "It's" is a shortened term for "it is", so it would be used in a sentence such as "it's very dangerous". "Its" is used when saying that something owns and/or displays something. It would be used it a sentence like "I kicked its leg".
Discovery: RPC-507 was initially discovered in on 16/08/2011, when a disproportionate amount of force was displayed by the Hong Kong Police Force against protesters during the arrival of Li Keqiang to Hong Kong, an act uncharacteristic of the Hong Kong Police Force at the time.
Despite RPC-507 being "initially discovered" on 16/08/2011, it is theorized that other iterations of RPC-507 has have existed since no later than 13/11/1998 as Authority personnel have been believed to have experienced the effects of RPC-507 before.
(The audio abruptly stops here.) A bit non-clinical. Some better wording could be "(At this point, the audio abruptly stops.)".
The 8-man team recorded led What does "recorded led" mean? by Agent Marshall was involved with resolving the siege of Site-038 on 13/11/98.
Team Members: R7-2(Agent Stringer)/R7-3(Agent Leung)/R7-4(Agent Earl)/E7-1(Agent Molyneux)/E7-2(Agent Delak)/E7-3(Agent Wrath)/E7-4(Agent Alexandre) This is weird and jarring to look at right now. I suggest changing it to:
Team Members: R7-2 (Agent Stringer) / R7-3 (Agent Leung) / R7-4 (Agent Earl) / E7-1 (Agent Molyneux) / E7-2 (Agent Delak) / E7-3 (Agent Wrath) / E7-4 (Agent Alexandre)
(Chatter between multiple Malthus members may be is heard originating from Room QR609.)
(The Echo-7 memebers members head to the other door in preparation for breaching.)
A majority of the Authority's understanding of RPC-507 are is based on the information provided by Agent Leung, as nobody else has proper experience with RPC-507.
Investigations into RPC-507 will certain certainly not cease, but will no longer be treated with the amount of concern.
I liked this article. The concept behind it was interesting, and the execution was pretty interesting as well. This was a really good commentary as well, and I was like "oh shit" when I got to the characteristics. The exploration log with the team members killing people and calling them cockroaches was genuinely really creepy and nervewracking.
Great work as always, Dummie.
blabbo
gonna try a fancy new color system for this one
Red = Important edit
Green = More of a nitpick
Orange = Comment
Despite the currently presently local nature of RPC-507, other national or international law enforcement agencies are to be monitored for RPC-507. Footage of operations from Authority agents with prior convictions regarding use of excessive force are to be reviewed on a consistent basis.
Description: RPC-507 refers to an anomalous psychological phenomenon, mainly affecting the Occipital lobe1 of the brain. The capacity to affect the perception of vision from individuals regarding other human beings is held by RPC-507, with the effects of RPC-507 are usually primarily activated during times of mental stress.
The occipital lobe of mammalian brains is responsible for visual processing, containing most of the anatomical region of the visual cortex.
Ok there's a lot more obvious formatting and grammar errors in here than I expected. I'm not going to slave to fix them all. Give this a few proof reads.
Individuals under the effect of RPC-507, hereby referred to as the subject, will perceive a select number of human beings within visual range as insects, usually different forms of cockroaches, hereby referred to as RPC-507-1.
"individuals" is plural but "the subject" is singular, and "insects" is plural but "RPC-507-1" is singular.
While it remains unknown precisely which specific persons will be perceived by the subject as instances of RPC-507-1, collected footage of individuals affected by RPC-507 suggest that individuals with certain characteristics have a disproportionately higher probability of being perceived as instances of RPC-507-1; these characteristics are listed below.2
This sentence is extremely awkward.
It is theorized that the criteria for being perceived as an instance of RPC-507-1 is not static, and is subject to change in regards to an individual's race, gender, political affiliation, level of education and social status.
There's a lot of singe-sentence and double-sentence paragraphs that should really be merged. It makes the article feel choppy to have so many brief sections.
On 15/10/2014, a Registered Phenomena Code was officially provided to RPC-507
This is awkwardly worded.
I think it's extremely weird and unbelievable that this guy would have a meeting with the directorate. Why would he even have direct contact with them? I'd consider this canon-breaking to be frank. I would expect him to be interviewed by low-to-mid-level researchers, not the fucking GD. The justification that there was no head researcher makes no sense. If a janitor went missing, you think GD-12 would take up the cleaning duty? Fuck no, they'd find the next closest person available. The agent's motivation is unclear and unjustified. The GD would not just accept any random meeting request from site directors.
Since 507 still does not have a head researcher, I suppose we should inform Site Director Yeung of this then.
OH REALLY? YOURE NOT GOING TO CONTACT THE UNIVERSAL DIRECTORS?
I do not like this depiction of the GD being incompetent ass wipes. It's unbelievable and demeans the Authority. It makes everything the Authority does a joke.
The operation log felt boring and predictable. A bunch of operatives affected by an anomaly that makes you attack people senselessly, and that's exactly what happened.
The Malthus inclusion is just inserting a GoI as a generic bad guy. I thought this was something we were moving away from.
The repeated shilling of other articles in cross links makes me legitimately hate this article. It's cheap and dumb. It feels like you didn't even try with this article. I can understand if I'm in the minority on thinking the GD shouldn't be involved with low-level stuff or not very competent, but everything else is still abysmal. I don't really see anything in this article worth keeping. I can't even think of a suggestion for how you could change it that doesn't involve removing so much of the content that it isn't remotely the same article anymore.
vizlox how could you change my opinion on this article in such a way this is so sad
