Containment Protocols

RPC-063 is to be secured in a Class III containment unit with an interlocking system. Material specifications are to be featured with ruthenium material combined with aluminum foil to counter any ruptures caused by its extradimensional properties.

Photographs and digital footages are to not be taken under any circumstances. Any forms of media that resemble RPC-063 are to be confiscated and destroyed immediately. The only photographic image of RPC-063 is to be kept within a sealed folder, accessible only by personnel above Level 3.

Due to its passive behavior and personality, RPC-063 is to be interviewed on a bi-weekly basis to maintain a social and psychological connection. Personnel requesting to administer interviews must be preapproved in advance by a Level 4 staff from the Anthropology Department.

However, it is to be noted that any requests may be rejected for any reason by Lead Researcher Dr. Harri Victor.

During these interview sessions, personnel with religious affiliations, specifically Catholicism, are to be barred from conducting interviews, including in the proximity of RPC-063's containment unit.

Any unusual behavior is to be reported to Dr. Victor or a staff member from the Anthropology Department. If behavior has been determined to be life-threatening, Protocol Amber-Red is to be enacted unless specified otherwise by Site Management.

Protocol Update: Due to an incident on 06/1998, containment protocol has been updated. See the attachment below for further details.

Description

RPC-063.jpg

RPC-063
(Non-Hazardous Photograph via RPC-268)

RPC-063 is a Class IV extradimensional humanoid entity that appeared to initially manifest during the Protestant Reformation. Measuring approximately 1.43m in height, the subject does not display any form of imitation of clothing or physical structure, which can be attributed to its darkened epidermis.

Due to its unusual skin nature, the subject becomes almost indistinct from its facial and physical form, only apparent by its darkened epidermis and body outline.

The only identifiable features are the subject's distinct radiance of its white pupils and translucent hands and arms, specifically the ulna and radius. Whether the luminosity is caused by external light exposure is currently unknown.

Strangely, light does not appear to be absorbed or deflected when any illumination is directed at RPC-063's skin pigmentation. This results in light passing through its entire anatomy, with light appearing visible through its skin.

RPC-063-1 instances are individuals that were affected by RPC-063. When RPC-063-1 is within the presence of RPC-063, RPC-063 will manifest and influence RPC-063-1 to enter Stage 5 REM sleep.2

Other physical symptoms include:

  • Displaying high blood pressure along with an irregular acceleration of heartbeats.
  • Blood and oxygen flow rapidly decreases, causing paleness to the skin.
  • Physical twitching visible around the neck and muscles.

RPC-063-1 will be unaware that they've entered a state of deep sleep and visualize random dreams manifested by their own cerebrum. However, these illusions will begin to shift into RPC-063-1's phobia, displayed by RPC-063, who will materialize at random intervals to RPC-063-1 in various appearances but often in their natural form.

RPC-063-1's phobias will develop to a critical point where they will experience circulatory shock, followed by an immediate cardiac arrest. Within hours, RPC-063-1's body will cease to exist and be substituted by an umbra outline of their body.

Photographic samples were taken on 02/1999 of RPC-063's appearance. However, unknowingly, the photographs were cognitohazardous after four out of the five photographists were found unconscious on the floor after suffering a brain hemorrhage.3

Further testing conducted on viewing RPC-063's appearance through photographic images have resulted in death. However, a photo of RPC-063 was successfully captured on film and developed using RPC-268. This developed film was considered non-hazardous, though additional copies using RPC-268 were discovered to be cognitohazardous.4

Following a series of tests, various devices revealed different results, each manifesting different effects. It's unclear if this particular photograph was somehow unaffected by RPC-063 or RPC-268's anomalous effects, but results are currently inconclusive.5

It was under the assumption that RPC-063 was incapable of articulating, as evident by RPC-063 illustrating indecipherable messages on the observation glass. On 08/β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆ, it was revealed that RPC-063 was capable of speech.6

Description Update: Additional information has been added. See Addendum 063.02

Addendum 063.01. Discovery 01/03/19β–ˆβ–ˆ

RPC-063-1.jpg

RPC-063-1 instances in the distance from the cemetery.

On January 3, 19β–ˆβ–ˆ, Head Research Staff Dr. Gabrielle was discovered floating above the ceiling of Site-014's Office Wing. The initial cause of death was inconclusive by medical experts. Security footage captured an unidentified figure, designated as RPC-063, glancing at the camera before the footage abruptly corrupted.

Note: Initial personnel who came into contact with the footage were exposed to its cognitohazardous effects effects and died an hour after inspecting the footage. The footage was briefly confiscated as a result.

Further investigations uncovered that the attendees at the cathedral church located at [REDACTED], Massachusetts, reportedly disappeared on separate occasions by local authorities. Mobile Specialized Team X-Ray-6 ("Annulifers") were deployed to search the premises, however, X-Ray-6 reportedly encountered Vatican operatives during their investigations.

With the suspicion that the Holy See was involved, the Authority contacted the Church for information concerning RPC-063. Communications between the Authority and Holy See lasted for two days until the Holy See agreed to distribute reports dating back to the Protestant Reformation.7

Following several days of search, RPC-063 was tracked down at an abandoned cemetery, located not far from the cathedral. A containment team was deployed and managed to contain RPC-063 with no incident.

However, upon the team's arrival, the Anderson Coherency Scale (ACS) was reported to be irregular by the team.

Addendum 063.02. Blackfall Event

Note: This appendix covers the manifested effects that took place on 06/1998, for information pertaining to the incident; See Addendum 063.05.

Addendum 063.03. Interview 08/24/β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆ

Following its initial discovery, several interviews were administered by Researcher Fraser. Attempts to extract information, such as its history and other relevant knowledge, were initially unsuccessful.

Previous sessions have demonstrated RPC-063 to be uncooperative, often leaving indecipherable statements on the observation glass. However, on 08/24/β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆ, RPC-063 was observed to verbally communicate with Researcher Fraser.

The following is an interview between Researcher Fraser and RPC-063.

Addendum 063.05. Incident 06/β–ˆβ–ˆ/1998

On 06/1998, Site-020's internal systems detected ACS levels shifting between [DATA EXPUNGED]. An hour after this irregularity was detected, Site-020's distress beacon was activated, and all communication activities ceased.

Nearby facilities dispatched a quick reaction force to investigate Site-020, composed of Authority Security Forces and Mobile Specialized Team Echo-8 ("Plague Doctors")

The following is a video transcript of an exploration team investigating Site-020, seven hours after the distress beacon was activated.

Addendum 063.06. Confidential Vatican Documents

Following the encounter of Vatican agents on 01/03/19β–ˆβ–ˆ, the Holy See sent out several copies of records, at the request of the Authority, of initial sightings of RPC-063 in the early-mid 16th Century. Agents from the Psychological Initiative Occult (PIO) began monitoring on March 23, 15β–ˆβ–ˆ.

Prior to observations began, the PIO was investigating alleged atrocities committed within local villages, including those within Catholic churches following sightings of a "dark masse witch."

In these investigations, an unnamed Lutheran extremist was observed during these events. According to the notes written, they supposedly 'possessed the witch under their palm.'

The following is a series of letters obtained from the Lutheran extremist, dated around the 16th Century.
