Special Protocol: It is forbidden to bring any organism above ~1.618 grams into Site-008 without explicit permission. Any violation of rule will result in a swift punishment, and termination for any unauthorized organism unless faculty say otherwise.

Background Information: Site-008 is currently the largest Authority medical facility, and annually treat vast amounts of Authority personnel. The majority of patients treated here require intensive care that cannot be satisfied with just modern medical technology available to the public. Personnel brought to Site-008 who lack the proper clearance to know of Site-008 are administered amnestics after making a complete recovery.

Site-008, in addition to being used as a hospital, serves as a storage and research space for anomalies with hypothetical or proven medical applications. Anomalies with proven medical value are exploited and used to the fullest extent to treat personnel. All stationed doctors at Site-008 are given additional training to make use of such RPCs for treatment.

History: During the construction of the Panama Canal, RPC-028 was discovered, a geo-positionally immovable anomaly. Site-008 initially was an aboveground observation post near RPC-028 covered with an inconspicuous structure. After much testing, it was discovered the anomaly could be moved vertically and was subsequently moved 1.1 kilometers underground. Due to the inevitably of the canal being filled with water, the hole RPC-028 was moved through was sealed and a subterranean structure was built around it. Afterward, all nearby surface entryways were likewise sealed and the structure was connected to an underground rail system.

On 10/12/1910, the post became officially designated as Site-008 by Global Director, ██████████. After being designated, it was ordered Site-008 undergo a massive expansion and be used for the medical treatment of personnel using anomalies such as RPC-028. After three years of construction, the expansion was completed and anomalies thereafter began to be exploited for medical treatment. The site has since become a great investment by saving countless lives while reducing medical expenses.

Wings of the Facility

  • Administrative Wing - Used to manage Site-008, only high-level staff may enter this area.
  • Medical Wing - The largest wing of the facility, used for bedding, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients.
  • Intelligence Wing - Used to monitor and investigate all patients for any data breaches revealing the existence of the site to the public and/or hostile GOIs.
  • Research Wing - Used to research RPCs with potential medical applications. A small prison is included to store test subjects for medical experimentation. Medical personnel are taught how to use proven anomalies for treatment here by researchers.
  • Containment Wing - Stores only alpha and beta items with confirmed or hypothetical medical applications
